Algebraic expressions
Expressions combine constants, variables and operations without necessarily asserting an equation.
Number systems
Natural, integer, rational, real and complex numbers support progressively broader operations.
Absolute value
Absolute value measures distance from zero on the real line.
Arithmetic operations
Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division follow precedence rules; division by zero is undefined.
Exponent laws
Power identities simplify products and quotients where bases and exponents satisfy the required domain conditions.
